BoardEject

Terms of use

Last updated: 13 September 2026

These terms describe use of the BoardEject website, maintained by Royal Pinto. BoardEject is an independent open-source project, not affiliated with Apple or Excalidraw.

An early, limited-scope release

Native Freeform conversion is incomplete. Some elements may be omitted or approximated, and reports may not identify every fidelity problem. The interactive example is synthetic and is not proof of complete Freeform support. Always keep your original board and inspect the exported file before relying on it.

Your content and responsibilities

You retain ownership of your boards. Using the converter does not grant us ownership of your content. Only process material you are entitled to use. Do not use the site to violate others' rights, distribute malicious files, or interfere with the service.

Open-source software

BoardEject's source code is available under its MIT license. Dependencies retain their respective licenses. These website terms do not take away rights granted by those licenses.

Availability and limitations

The preview is provided as available, without a promise of uninterrupted service, fitness for a particular purpose, or complete conversion fidelity. To the extent permitted by applicable law, it is provided without warranties and the maintainer is not responsible for losses arising from reliance on incorrect or incomplete output. Nothing here excludes liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

The service may change or be discontinued. There is no paid conversion plan or guaranteed support entitlement. Optional contributions do not buy guaranteed features or conversion accuracy.

External services and contact

External websites have their own terms. Read our privacy notice for data handling. For questions, email [email protected]. Updates to these terms will be reflected in the date above.
