BoardEject is maintained by Royal Pinto. This notice covers boardeject.dev, its browser converter, and the optional clipboard helper.

Your board stays on your device

The converter processes selected captures in your browser. BoardEject has no board-upload endpoint, account system, or cloud board storage. The macOS helper reads the clipboard only when you run it and saves a file to the location you choose. Browser clipboard access is requested when you choose the import action.

The embedded Excalidraw interface runs on this site. Opening it does not send your board to excalidraw.com. Downloaded files and helper captures remain on your device until you delete them. Save your output before closing or refreshing the page; BoardEject does not provide a server-side backup.

Browser storage and hosting

Browser caches and the embedded editor may retain assets or interface preferences. You can clear this site's data in your browser settings. BoardEject does not add advertising trackers or sell board content.

Cloudflare serves and protects the site. Ordinary web requests reveal technical information such as your IP address, requested URL, and browser information to the hosting provider. Its processing and retention are governed by its services and privacy policy. Browser-side board processing does not mean that visiting a website produces no network metadata.

Links, support, and contributions

GitHub and Buy Me a Coffee are external services with their own privacy policies. They receive information when you visit them. If you contact us, your message and contact details are used to respond. Public GitHub issues and contributed fixtures are public: never attach confidential boards, tokens, or personal information.

Questions or requests

Email [email protected] with privacy questions or requests concerning information you provided directly. We cannot retrieve or delete board files stored only on your device. If this notice changes, we will update the date above.
